| Robertsons first started issuing golly badges as we know them in 1928. The first to be issued was the golly golfer (second from right on bottom row). As with all the pre-war badges this was made by HW Miller and had a registered number on the back |

| In 1932 Robersons issued a set of six fruit badges. Between 1935 and 1939 Robertsons continued on a sporting theme issuing footballers, cricketers, hockey and tennis players. In 1937 a special badge was issued to celebrate the coronation of the king in that year |
